Developments of the Sevkabel Research and Design Institute include:

• Low-inductance power cable for power supply and protection of a superconducting magnetic system for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER);
• Development of high-voltage cable fittings: end and coupling sleeves of 110 kV and above;
• Development and manufacture of flexible cables for the control of industrial robots;
• Manufacture and supply of a specialised geophysical cable for drilling ice in the relict lake Vostok in Antarctica;
• Development and testing of a high voltage assembly model for the power system of analysers of atom charge exchange under the ITER project.
